The church is surrounded on all sides by buildings and cannot be seen clearly from the High Street. If you find "MacDonalds" or the bus stop, then you should be able to locate and alley leading to the church. From the other side, St. Matthew's and the library are landmarks, with an entrance to the church yard to be found on the left by heading east.
Entry to the belfry is made from the outside. The door being on the opposite side of the church to the normal entrance (same side as MacDonalds), down a path passing to the right of a large memorial stone. Please be advised that the steps are steep and uneven.

If you wish to learn to ring you should contact a member of the band to let them know. You should also be prepared to turn up to the parish 7.15pm. We will then give you handling lessons before the main practice starts. Once we have taught you to ring we would then like you to turn up to ring on Sunday mornings for services.
